Our fixed price covers a standard 4-ring gas hob, which is what most of our customers need. We also fit 2-ring and 5-ring hobs, and gas cookers of all sizes. Every home is different, so these are priced by quote.

It's illegal for anyone who isn't Gas Safe registered to connect a gas appliance. Our engineers are registered (Reg. 965261), and every installation is tested before we leave. On every gas hob we fit, we register the manufacturer warranty for you and email you the paperwork.
Tell us what you're fitting, and send a photo of the space on WhatsApp if you can. We confirm the booking by text, then text you when our engineer is on the way.
Hob not working properly, for example not sparking up or burners not lighting? We can service it. Often a thorough clean of the burners and injectors brings it back to life. How much does a gas hob replacement cost?
A Gas Hob Replacement is £220 + VAT. That includes the supply and fit of a new 4-ring gas hob. We generally install Lamona gas hobs, and we apply for the 3-year Lamona warranty for you.
My gas hob won't spark or light. Can you fix it?
Often, yes. We can service your gas hob, and a good clean of the burners and injectors often fixes ignition problems. If it still isn't working after that, we'll usually recommend a new hob, as parts and labour on an old hob can cost more than replacing it.
Do you fit 2-ring or 5-ring hobs, or gas cookers?
Yes. We fit 2-ring and 5-ring gas hobs, and gas cookers of all sizes. Because every home and every cooker is different, these are priced by quote. Our fixed £220 + VAT price is for a standard 4-ring gas hob replacement.
Can you fit a hob I've bought myself?
Yes. Let us know the make and model when you book so we can check what's needed for the connection.
Do you register my hob warranty?
Yes. On every gas hob we install, we register the manufacturer warranty for you, keep the records on file and email you the paperwork. It saves you the trouble.
Can you move my gas cooker to a different wall?
Usually, yes. We'll run new gas pipework to the new position as part of the job. See gas pipework.
Do you take the old one away?
Yes. When we replace your gas cooker, we can take the old one away for an extra £30 + VAT. Just let us know when you book.
How long does a hob replacement take?
A straightforward like-for-like replacement is usually a short job. If the gas supply needs moving or extending, it takes longer, and we'll tell you upfront.
Can you convert an electric hob to gas?
If there's a gas supply nearby, we can usually run pipework to the new hob. We'll check on the visit.
