Heating: your questions answered
Why is only the top of my radiator warm?
Usually trapped air, and bleeding the radiator often fixes it. If it keeps happening, there may be a wider issue in the system that our engineers can look at.
Can you move or add a radiator?
Yes. We can add, replacement or move radiators, including the pipework, and we'll talk you through the options first.
Do you work on all heating systems?
We work on most domestic central heating systems. Tell us what you have when you book, and send a photo on WhatsApp if it helps.
Can you make my heating more efficient?
Often, yes. Balancing radiators, upgrading valves and controls, or fixing sludge problems can all help. Our engineer will talk you through the options.
My radiators are cold at the bottom. What does that mean?
It can be a sign of sludge in the system. Our engineers can check and recommend the right fix.
