Strip Down Service
What is a Strip Down Service?
The regular boiler service we do alongside a gas safety certificate (CP12) is a safety and performance check. A strip down service is a much bigger job: the boiler’s main internal parts are taken out, cleaned, inspected and refitted, then the boiler is tested and checked over.
Over the years, dirt, debris and wear build up inside a boiler. That can lead to faults that keep coming back, even after repairs. Taking the boiler apart and cleaning it properly gets to the parts a regular service doesn’t.
If we find a worn or failing part along the way, we’ll show you what we’ve found and explain your options before we do anything else.
Who it’s for
We recommend a strip down service for older boilers, boilers that haven’t been serviced in years, and boilers with recurring faults. Not sure which you need?
